Family Budget - More information

With Family Budget you can to set up several individual mobile accounts for your kids or other family members, and control the spending from your own account.

You can set budgets for the other accounts, either manually or by choosing an automatic allowance. So you can agree upon a fixed amount that family members are allowed to spend on their mobile phones each month.

Anyone over 18 can set up a master account and add other sub-accounts to it. You can set up as many individual mobile accounts as you like from a single master account. For example, the master account might be administered by a parent for their children. Parents can have total control of their children's mobiles through this account.

Should your child's balance drop to £3, we would send a text message to both the child's and parent's phone numbers, informing them of the low balance.

Should your child's balance reach £0, we would send another text message to both the child and the parent, and the child's phone will be suspended for outgoing use until a new allowance is made.

All sub-accounts have their own log-in to their account. However, unlike the master account, they can only check their balance and usage. They cannot top-up or activate additional services.

To start using Family Budget, you must be signed in to your account. From the 'My Account' main page you can add additional accounts by clicking on 'Add sub account'

This will take you through a sign-up process similar to when you first signed up.

Once you have completed the sign-up process, we will send you your new Family Mobile starter pack and you can begin to manage your Family Budget immediately.
